The greatest purpose of life on Earth is to improve our ability to love.  We have the potential for perfect love because we were made in the image and likeness of God, and God is Love.  We know that love should be unselfish, unconditional, compassionate, forgiving, kind, patient, fearless, deep, universal, etc., but knowing it doesn't mean that we can do it.  Ideal love is very difficult to attain.

     One reason why perfect love is so difficult to attain is that our negative characteristics, thoughts and feelings get in the way.  They block the divine love that is within us.  Our human egos, selfishness, possessiveness, arrogance, criticism, hurt, fear, resentment, anger, hate, non-forgiveness, dishonesty, doubt, mistrust, jealousy, lust, envy, ingratitude, thoughtlessness, being too strong-willed, controlling, etc., keep us from having the love that we long for in the depths of our souls.  Our negative thoughts and feelings can be far more powerful than we realize, because they have been building for many lifetimes (as have our positive ones).  If we don't want our powerful negative energies to keep us from having the love and relationships that we want, we must do the hard work of getting rid of them.  Getting rid of these negative energies takes a lifetime of effort.  While doing the spiritual work is most important, it  may not enough by itself to make the greatest progress.  If not, it could complemented in other ways - ex., breathwork, bodywork, Reiki, EFT, yoga, inner child work, rebirthing, psychotherapy.

     The greatest way of spiritually removing these negative energies is with God's fire.  One description of God is that He's "a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:29).  You can use His fire to consume the negative, impure energies in your heart, mind, subconscious, chakras and aura.  God's fire consumes this negative energy (ex., fear, anger) by transmuting it, by changing it back to its pure, divine state.  Jesus baptized (purified) with this fire (Matthew 3:11), the fire of the Holy Spirit.  The color of the fire that can transmute or change energy is violet.  Violet fire is the secret of alchemy.  If you'd like to learn more about violet fire so that you can use violet flame mantras and decrees to purify and free yourself of your negative energies (and karma), I recommend reading the pocketbook Violet Flame to Heal Body, Mind and Soul by Elizabeth Clare Prophet, published by Summit University Press.  I also recommend going to The Summit Lighthouse website, www.tsl.org, to learn about the violet flame and about other important spiritual teachings (ex., angels, reincarnation and karma, soul mates).

     Another reason why ideal, divine love is so difficult to attain is because the fallen angels, the forces of darkness, don't want us to have it.  People have serious problems in marriage, with their children, parents, and others, at times, not only because of their own human weaknesses, but also because of the very powerful influence of the fallen angels.  These rebellious angels have great hatred for the sons and daughters of God.  They are jealous of our love, and they try to destroy it and separate us from our loved ones through their divide and conquer tactics.  They may, for example, project thoughts to one spouse that the other isn't loving enough, or good enough, in some way, or that he or she is more attracted to someone else, and can't be trusted.  They may tempt one to have an affair.  People need to realize that they need to protect their relationships and love from the fallen angels, from dark, evil, destructive forces who are anti-Love.

     You can call to the Archangels to protect your relationships and love from the fallen angels.  The greatest angel for protection is Archangel Michael.  He is known as the Prince of the Archangels, the Captain of the Armies of God, the Defender of the Faith.  You can also call to Archangel Chamuel to protect your relationships and love, because he is the Archangel of Love.  He was the angel that God sent to strengthen Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.  Because Chamuel is the Archangel of Love, you can also call to him to help you and your loved
