Most people who have health problems, and most doctors and other health care practitioners, do not turn to angels for help.  They don't ask for angelic assistance, partly because they don't know that there are healing angels.  One of the many things that angels do for us is heal.  The greatest healing angel is Archangel Raphael.  Archangels are extentions of God.  Raphael, therefore, can heal with the power of God.  Raphael's name means "God has healed".

     Having such great power to heal doesn't mean that Raphael can heal everyone he's asked to.  People may experience physical pain or disease for a time in order to pay karmic debts and learn valuable lessons.  If you pray to Raphael and don't see a cure, you should not give up because you never know when a healing could be.  When you don't see physical results, your prayers can still help because they may be working on the mental and emotional, as well as the physical, causes of the health problem.

     It is very important to take a holistic approach to health problems because it has been found that negative thoughts and feelings can cause disease.  Criticism and resentment, for example, are causes of arthritis, and resentment and hate are causes of cancer.  Longstanding, powerful, subconscious, negative energies of fear,  anger, hate, resentment, criticism, and guilt can affect the physical body and cause health problems.  When the cause of disease is mental or emotional, a physical remedy is not enough.  One must also get rid of the negative mental or emotional state in order to remove the causes.  Archangel Raphael can help one to do this.

     Archangel Raphael and his healing angels can help us in many ways.  The following are some suggestions for what you can ask Raphael and his healing angels to do:

     * Go to hospitals, nursing homes, and treatment centers like the Betty Ford Clinic.
        All the patients there can be helped by healing angels if you request it.
     * Help people you know with health problems (and people you don't know, but know
        about - ex., the paralyzed actor Christopher Reeve).  Remember, don't give up if
        you don't see the results you would like.  Angels are answering your call and are
        helping the person you prayed for in some way, even if you don't see the physical
        improvement that you desire.  Your prayers, for example, may help people with
        health problems to have less physical pain and fear and cope better.  They may
        help them to feel peace, comfort and happiness and experience the presence and
        love of an angel, Jesus, or other divine being.
     * Help doctors diagnose, treat, and perform surgery.  Doctors and other health care
        practitioners can have access to the assistance and healing power of an Archangel.
        I once saw a doctor who was having a problem with a patient ask Raphael for help.
     * Help people who need mental and emotional healing.  Help psychotherapists,
        psychiatrists.  Everyone needs emotional healing and could be helped by some
        psychotherapy.
     * Help make people aware of alternative medicine, methods like herbs, homeopathy,
        acupuncture.  Health care practitioners who use alternative medicine and methods
        are often able to heal conditions that traditional doctors cannot.
